What usually falls by the wayside is follow up to the customer once the install is done and the seller walks away. But in this case, Tallman shines bright :) I have never written a review but in this case I felt Edward should be recognized. He is extremely patient with a novice at pool maintenance. I've had a few questions over the last few months with water chemistry, filters, etc. Edward responds quickly and is always patient when I ask ""can you repeat that one more time?" I wanted to make sure the folks in charge at Tallman know that Edward provides great customer service and it is appreciated.

We are the couple that showed up at the showroom with luggage in hand (straight from the airport) to tour the manufacturing and talk to a salesperson. We choose Tallman Pools because they were a reputable and local business, and also in doing our research on liner pools and gunite pools the fiberglass pools is more durable with almost no maintenance. Our first point of contact was Edward Tallman SR. He is an all-around a great guy. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in picking out our pool from many different designs on the lot. "Tallman Pools completed our pool in April 2020. Our old pool was getting eaten by termites. Replacing the liner twice in 5 years! With the big cost and maintenance of gunite, we decide to visit the Tallman showroom.
Impressed by the product features and value... we went ahead and opted for a full Tallman installation since we are located near Atlanta.
The crew removed our old vinyl in ground pool (concrete side walls and all), backfilled, installed the Catalina and stamped concrete patio all in less than a month. They resolved grading issues, rerouted unknown water lines and worked during the Pandemic to get it done!
The construction team, headed by Zane, communicated daily and were timely. They didnt finish until we were completely happy. Michele, the office manager, always kept me informed of the planning/permit process. The pool itself is beautiful! I recommend adding tile- nice touch! Now onto growing grass. Thank you!"

"My name is Carlos, and my wife and I just recently moved from New York to Atlanta, Georgia. We had a beautiful home built in a gate community, and were indecisive about putting a pool in our yard. My wife and I decided to visit Tallman Pools in Jonesboro, Georgia, and we will be perfectly honest, they had so many designs. The staff were vey knowledgeable, and there was no pressure at all in purchasing. The salesman gave us their undivided attention, and showed us every possible option they had to offer. When the idea of a pool for our home was first hatched, we were considering installing a vinyl liner pool mainly due to the lower up front costs. "I just finished the complete purchase and installation of a new Brunswick pool from Tallman. I first came in contact with James in sales. He was pleasant and took his time walking us around the factory as well as showing us the demo pools they had set up. He answered all of our questions and not once hurried us for the sale. We left there knowing we would be buying one of their pools due to the way we were treated that first visit.
After we decided to buy, we dealt with Michele on getting all of our permits and getting on the schedule. She answered any questions we had. She hired a permit company to handle the permits and she made it look easy. We then starting dealing with Zane that handled all the install procedures. Zane always kept in contact with me letting me know every step thru the construction process.
We had many different crews come to our home and all of them were a skilled craftsman and did excellent work. What I thought was the most impressive thing was how long a lot of the employees have been with Tallman. Some of them almost 40 years. "Tallman pools just installed the Rio Grande pool, large FreeForm tanning ledge with bubblers, and 8 round spa at our home and we are so pleased with the results! Not only did they install the pool, they created a stone loveseat grotto with a waterfall, also.
All of the staff were wonderful to work with and answered all our questions and inquiries promptly. From the first meeting with Anne, I knew I was going to like this company! Mr. Tallman gave us a walking tour of the plant and showed us how our pool would be made. I was very interested in the 50 year warranty that came with the fiberglass pool and excited about how easy it would be to clean and maintain.
Edward took us through all of the stages and process of our project with ease and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. All of the workers were very friendly and knowledgeable of what they were doing. Carlos dug the hole and our pool was installed in a few days! I love that I got to pick the glass mosaic tile that surrounds the pool, spa, and tanning ledge at the water line. It sparkles in the sun and glitters like gemstones! I had stacked stone installed around the spa and tanning ledge and it looks great!

"Our neighbor recommended a Tallman manufacturers assisted installation pool for our home. This April we celebrate the 6th anniversary of our manufacturers assisted installation. The assistance from Tallman Pools was spot on. The Tallman art department worked with us on the design and layout of the pool. The requirements for the prep work for the installation were provided by Tallman. The installation and hook up of the pool and plumbing was done on site by the Tallman installers. We saved thousands of dollars on the development of out back yard oasis. GET A POOL its worth the money.
Even though we have had few problems with our pool, Tallman has always responded promptly in answering our questions or in providing recommendations for pool products. Our relationship with Tallman pools after the purchase has been exceptional. We chose the right company for the long haul.
The design above was customized to fit our yard by Tallman. The pool is one piece fiberglass with a Spa, four deck jets, and heater. The modern technology features an easy touch Salt system that self generates chlorine. The computerized easy touch pool/spa control system makes operating the pool a breeze, which keeps the maintenance costs of the pool quite low. We love that.
The pool is used as bait to have our adult children and grandchildren come to our home in Savannah. It definitely has enhanced family gatherings and get togethers with friends. Last Thanksgiving we had 14 people in the pool. We had a heat wave for a few days before Thanksgiving and used the pool heater to warm things up a bit for a super day of fun! Our annual polar bear plunge on New Years Eve is very popular as well. Our guests dive into the cold pool, swim its length, then immediately head for the heated spa. Our pool is used year round and has definitely increased our property value.

The great thing about it is, you never have to worry about the liner getting old, faded and falling apart. We have had liner pools etc. and this pool will put those to shame.
This pool has 4 seats in the shallow end , 4 seats in the deep end, and a walk way to the deep end seats for those that want to be lazy.It also has a light that makes it really nice for night swimming. It tends to keep the water colder and it is virtually no maintenance.The only thing I cant figure out is, the pool is white yet the water is so pretty and blue. Haha. That always amazes me.

My wife and I recently had a 14x34 pool, the Abacos, manufactured and installed by Tallman Pools of Jonesboro, GA. and we are thrilled with the result.
After visiting the factory and meeting Anne, Edward, and Ed Sr. we decided to have Tallman Pools do all the excavation, installation, grading, and concrete work as well. We wanted to deal with one company through the entire process and afterwards. I must say that Edward, Anne, Michelle, John, Eduardo, and Carlos were great to deal with and ALL the workers on site were professional and friendly throughout the project.
I had a couple of extra needs on my site that required extra labor and equipment over and above the contracted work and Tallman Pools willingly worked with me, which was really appreciated!

After 15 years of thoroughly enjoying our pool... we decided to do the tiling ourselves not because of pricing, but because of past experience in laying floor tile, which turned out to be an extremely challenging project for us, but Tallman Pools was instrumental in giving us advice throughout every phase. Decorative tiling is not very easy to do and is completely different than tiling floors, etc. Our advice is to leave it to the professional team at Tallman Pools so that you can have complete peace of mind and get it done correctly.

"I want to thank the entire Tallman Pools Team. We had decided late last year to get a pool. We had several options to consider, gunite, liner and fiberglass. After a some research and personal experience with a gunite pool we decided to go with Fiberglass. We contacted a few other companies that sold fiberglass pools, but after talking to Anne the decision was clear it has to be a Pool from Tallman.
From the time we walked into the door Anne went above and beyond to help us in our decision on which pool to purchase. We could see as many pools as we wanted to, and she was not kidding. When we decided to build a new residence in Jonesboro we were contemplating of having a swimming pool installed in the back of the house and therefore we built an attached patio to the house to be part of our backyard.
Since my husband is a retired Florida general contractor that had installed numerous gunite pools in Florida, the question came up of what type of swimming pool would be the most efficient and economical in order to have a back yard we can enjoy and relax. Through friends we were made aware of Tallman Pools, a manufacturer of fiberglass pools. After a visit to their facility and seeing the show room pool in operation, gave us the opportunity to compare values between the different types of swimming pools.
Having previously owned 2 gunite pools in Florida, it was a step in another direction to change to a fiberglass swimming pool by Tallman Pools.
Aesthetics, economics, ease of installation and lower cost of maintenance made us compare your product against others. After careful consideration we decided on a Tallman Pool in the size we could fit into the space available and to compliment our home and back yard. The swimming pool was installed in less than a week without any problems, and with no damage to property.

"Well, I don't know where to start.
Anne, Ed Sr. ,Ed Jr. and Carlos and his crew, I can't say enough for what a great Company Tallman Pools is.From the first visit to their facility in Jonesboro to the last drop of water needing to fill my new pool was a total enjoyment to watch a well managed Team.From the that first day Anne provided my wife and I all the major information regarding the different type and sizes of pools.A complete paperwork regarding City and County regulations and permits that would be needed. The time schedule and the delivery and installation was as they stated.
The day went flawless from the digging of the hole to the placement of the pool. Tallman's crew worked with great pride and experience. That first day the hole was dug, the pool placed and started to be filled. The follow days the rest of the pool controls and equipment were place and turned on. Everything worked as they said it would. Again a flawless installation by a very professional crew.
One year after the installation date, there was a problem with the automatic pool cleaner. Instead of waiting for the Pentair warranty department to provide us with a replacement, Tallman Pools immediately swapped it out for us.

It all started in January 2013 with my conversation with Rebecca. I had spoken with several pool companies. My first conversation with Rebecca on the telephone impressed me and was confident that I had found the right company to deal with. Tallman Pools not only was very fair in price comparison, but was very educational as to all facets of buying, installing and keeping a pool. We felt positive in our decision to business with a family company.
After the order was placed all instructions for preperation, the Tallman Pools employees who came to install our pool, and follow up could not have gone better. Since installation in April, 2013 we have thoroughly enjoyed sharing our lovely pool with friends and family. In fact three other members of the family are now Tallman Pools owners.
A week ago we realized the pump was not operating. Normally my heart would have sunk and I would have panicked, but somewhere in the back of my mind I remembered something that Rebecca had told me several times during our talks. "If there is ever a question or a problem of any kind, please call and talk with Ed first". That is exactly what we did and though I had always felt good about my choice of Tallman Pools --- I was surprised with the results of the call. Billy spoke with Ed Tallman on Tuesday morning, Wednesday afternoon UPS delivered a new pump and Thursday morning my husband installed the replacement pump in ten minutes following Ed's thorough instructions.

"To all the potential pool customers please read my review on my experience at Tallman Pools before you decide to buy one. Buying a pool is a luxury.If, you are fortunate enough to be able to afford one then you are in for a great summer time treat that all American's love, time at the pool.
It was my sister who actually told me about fiberglass pools and how cool they were. She even googled them and showed me the Tallman pool website. Finally, in May of 2014 we both drove down to the Tallman manufacturing facility below Atlanta one Saturday. We were greeted by the owner's son Edward Junior, and he gave us a great tour.
We asked many questions, picked up some brochures and left satisfied that this was a good pool company. In June I purchased the pool, I chose the Roman Seminole model and I absolutely love it! Tallman built me exactly what I wanted in one week! I chose to pay for them to assist with the installation, which I highly recommend.
I had the hole dug, and had a crane there to lift the pool off of their truck into my hole. They placed the pool, plumbed the pool, temporarily hooked power up to make sure everything worked, and filled it up with water all in one day! The result was immediate, that same week I had my electrician finish all the wiring, had a concrete contractor pour my deck around the pool and a landscape company lay sod.
I was nervous at first that it wouldn't go smooth and there would be some mess up. But there wasn't, it went in smoothly just like Edward Senior had told me. Their crew was courteous, on time and most of all neat. They left no mess, all their trash was picked up and put in one large cardboard box.
Fiberglass pools are supposed to last 50 years, they don't fade, are easy to clean and easy to set up. In my opinion they are the pools of the future! I'll never have another liner pool or a gunnite pool. They are both very expensive, and take lots of maintenance which to me lowers my happy meter as a pool owner.
Many businesses promise the moon and will outright lie to get the sale! Then when you really need them, like I just did last week (February 6,2016), when I accidentally emptied my pool and couldn't figure out how to fix it, they leave you hanging! Not Tallman Pools instead, even after two years , when I called them with my problem they volunteered to come out on Saturday after hours and fix it. Oh, I might add that I live 80 miles from their factory. You know why they did it? Because, they value their customers, they have traditional family values and run their business like you are part of their family!

They wanted to make me happy so they offered to give me enough tile to wrap the entire pool and all the supplies necessary to do so at no charge.
In the Fall I called Tallman Pools after my install in regards to purchasing a Pool Cover, Heater and Robotic Vacuums. They always helped me or called me back and went over what is the best option. At one point I actually ordered the wrong vacuum and did not open the package but had my pool winterized and did not know it was the wrong one. After opening my pool for spring I realized my mistake and panicked. I called Edward at Tallman Pools and he contacted the distributor and worked it out for a exchange even though I already had the item for months. Thats customer service above and beyond.
Everyone on there staff were very profession and down to earth as if I was speaking with a friend or neighbor which won me over! They made this a "Very relaxed and stress free" experience. It is clear to me they value the" long term relationship" formed with there clients more than just closing a sale. I truly value Tallman Pools and HIGHLY recommend them!"
